OM4 optical cable:

OM 4 optical cable in 850nm window, using 850nm VCSEL laser optic source, its effective bandwidth is more than twice that of OM 3 optical fiber, and is compatible with OM 3 optical fiber. In Ethernet above 10 Gbps, OM 4 fiber is farther away than OM 3 fiber, up to 400 meters. Moreover, because it can support 40G / 100G transmission to 150 m, 50% more than the 100 m transmission distance of OM 3 cable, it is considered more suitable as a multi-mode cable type to support 40G / 100G transmission.
